Ability Sports League Season 3 Goes National

2024 was a breakout year for the Ability Sports League (ASL). What began as a Karnataka-only competition expanded into a genuinely national league in Season 3, with teams from six cities — Bengaluru, Chennai, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Gwalior, and Mumbai.

The season was jointly organized by Divyaang Myithri Sports Academy and Kshamata Innovation Foundation, with strong on-ground volunteer support from Cognizant Outreach. Two details stood out: every player was paid the same match fee, regardless of team or city, and every athlete received a personal cricket kit thanks to Cycle Pure Agarbathi's support — nobody left without the gear they needed to play.

Chennai Legends lifted the Season 3 trophy after an intense, closely fought campaign. Beyond the results, ASL 2024 was about breaking stereotypes and bringing people together — proof that "ability over disability" can scale well past a single state.
