CM Trophy: Karnataka Falls Just Short in a 7-Team National Field

The CM Trophy, hosted by the Tamil Nadu Wheelchair Cricket Association from August 4–11, 2024, brought together seven state teams: Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh.

Team Karnataka's consistency carried them all the way to the final once again. Haryana batted first and posted 166 runs in 20 overs; Karnataka's chase came agonizingly close but finished 16 runs short.

Another final, another near-miss — but the team's talent, fighting spirit, and teamwork throughout the series were exactly the qualities DMSA looks to build in every athlete who comes through its programs.
